What is Identity Management?

Out of Office Assistant
Managers or specific users can edit and activate the out-of-office note for a suddenly absent colleague in IDM-Portal. Of course, this is done within the framework of your data protection policies and according to the IT security level.
Thanks to the user-friendly interfaces of IDM-Portal, the authorized persons can:
- inform internal as well as external contacts
- define the duration of the absence
- notify IT, supervisors or colleagues
At the same time, IDM-Portal ensures the traceable logging of all actions.
Self Service Password Reset
Resetting an Active Directory password immediately, without the help of the IT – is this possible? In IDM-Portal, simply click on “Reset password”. In a moment, you will receive an email or SMS.
Alternatively, a security level can be built in: the department manager must approve the password reset. This is done via an e-mail with which the approval is granted or rejected.
